Maverick Minutes Goes Inside the Arena Project

OMAHA, Neb. - The second episode of Maverick Minutes, a behind-the-scenes look at Omaha Athletics, premiered today with a look inside the construction of the new UNO/community arena.
In this month's episode, host Dave Ahlers speaks with Steve Gustwiller, Project Manager for Kiewit Construction, about the progress to date on the new home of Omaha hockey, basketball and volleyball.
He also speaks with Pam Schwarting, Director of Community Relations, about the upcoming Claussen-Leahy Run & Walk scheduled for April 26 at Stinson Park in Aksarben Village.
Maverick Minutes will continue to feature updates on the arena project as well as other events hosted by Omaha Athletics including the upcoming Maverick Awards Banquet which honors student-athletes at the end of each school year.
