Maverick Minutes-New Arena Bowl Will Be Intimate

OMAHA, Neb. - Maverick Minutes, the monthly program that goes behind the scenes at Omaha Athletics, gets its first look from the concourse of the new UNO/Community arena.
Host Dave Ahlers gets a tour from Kiewit project manager Steve Gustwiller of the main concourse of the arena. The perspective demonstrates how closely UNO fans will be sitting to the action for UNO hockey, basketball and volleyball games.
The program also shows the progress of the roof work from the inside, a complicated process that includes remarkable engineering and coordination by crews working on the project.
In spite of recent rainy weather, the project continues on time and budget. It's scheduled to open in October of 2015.
