Arena Work Progresses Swiftly In Winter Months

OMAHA, Neb. – Maverick Minutes, a monthly look inside Omaha Athletics, returns from a hiatus this month with a look at the on-going progress on the new UNO/Community Arena.
Host Dave Ahlers is joined by Kiewit Project Manager Steve Gustwiler for a look inside UNO's new 7,500 seat arena for hockey, basketball and volleyball taking shape at the intersection of 67th and Center streets. Among the highlights are a look at the club and suite areas as well as a view from the arena floor.
Also included in this month's report is a timetable for future work on the arena in preparation for its first athletic event in October of this year.
