Men's Golf Travels To Drake

OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha men's golf team continues its busy fall schedule at the Zach Johnson Invitational hosted by Drake on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 5-6.
The tournament begins at 8 a.m. each day at the Glen Oaks Country Club in West Des Moines, Iowa.
The Mavericks are coming off a 13th-place finish at the Derek Dolenc Invitational at SIUE on Tuesday. As a team, they shot a 54-hole score of 897 in the 15-team tournament.
Miles Russell was UNO's top scorer and finished in a tie for 30th in the 88-player field with a score of 219, a career best. Ben Maskus was second for the Mavericks and tied for 40th overall with a tally of 221.
Mitch Ryan was two strokes behind Maskus at 223 to finish in a tie for 54th. Kevin Gordon put up a total score of 235 that had him in a tie for 79th. Sam Musch completed the scoring for UNO with a score of 238.
Following play at Drake, the Mavericks will close the fall season at the ODU/Outerbanks Invitational hosted by Old Dominion on Sunday-Tuesday, Oct. 25-27 in Powells Point, N.C.
