OMAHA, Neb. – The latest edition of Maverick Minutes provides an update on the construction of the UNO/Community Arena.
Host Dave Ahlers visits with project manager Steve Gustwiller of Kiewit Building Group, Inc., detailing the recent completion of concrete work on both arena floors and work on the main lobby and staircase.
Ahlers also talks with Ryan Weiss, the arena's director of operations, about the testing of the ice-making equipment that will precede the first sheet of ice on the main arena floor for UNO hockey.
