Mavericks Put 140 On Summit Academic Honor Roll

ELMHURST, Ill. – The Summit League announced today that 140 Omaha student-athletes were named to the Academic Honor Roll for the winter and spring seasons.
The Mavericks were third among the nine Summit League schools behind only South Dakota State (169) and South Dakota (165). A total of 1,094 winter and spring student-athletes from Summit League schools were named to the list.
In order to be selected to the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must have a 3.0 or better grade-point average (GPA) in the semester in which they compete and must use a year of eligibility. In order to be named a Distinguished Scholar, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.60 GPA in the semester in which they compete and must use a year of eligibility.
The complete list of the 2014-15 Summit League Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll can be found above. The list of Academic Distinguished Scholars were announced on Thursday. The Mavericks led all Summit League schools with 91 student-athletes on the list.
