OMAHA, Neb. -- Zip lining, whitewater rafting and four games against professionals - it all made for a busy nine days earlier this month for the Omaha men's soccer team. Head coach Jason Mims and his players recount their experiences in the latest edition of Maverick Minutes.
The Mavericks were in Costa Rica from July 2-11 during which time they went 2-2 against a variety of pro competition. They also saw cultural sites, took part in community service and got a chance to see the country through zip lining and whitewater rafting. Read more about their trip in their blog.
Host Dave Ahlers speaks with seniors Josh Christensen and Parker Victor who were able to capture a first person view of their trip with a GoPro camera and bring back some remarkable action.
