Men's Golf To Play at SIUE

OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha men's golf team returns to the course on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 28-29, at the Derek Dolenc Invitational hosted by Southern Illinois Edwardsville.
This will be the third tournament of five this fall for the Mavericks. They last played on Tuesday, finishing seventh at the Coyote Classic hosted by South Dakota.
The Mavericks finished with a three-round team score of 946 at Dakota Dunes Country Club. Mitch Ryan led the Mavericks in scoring for the second straight tournament, carding a 54-hole score of 232. He finished 14th overall.
Kevin Gordon was two strokes back at 234, putting him in 18th place. Miles Russell ended the tournament at 240, good for 31st place.
Junior college transfer Ben Maskus was at 241 for the tournament to finish in 33rd place while Sam Musch completed the scoring for the Mavericks with a score of 261.
Following play at SIUE, the Mavericks will take part in the Zach Johnson Invitational at Drake on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 5-6.
