Men's Golf Picked Seventh In Summit

ELMHURST, Ill. - The Omaha men's golf team has been slotted seventh in the annual Summit League pre-season coaches poll.
The Mavericks received 18 points in the voting of the league's coaches, just ahead of No. 8 Fort Wayne and behind No. 6 IUPUI.
South Dakota State was picked to win the Summit League Championship with 60 points and four first-place votes. Oral Roberts was second in the voting with 54 points and three first place votes, and Western Illinois was third with 47 points and two first-place votes.
Denver and South Dakota were ranked 4-5 while North Dakota State was picked ninth.
The Mavericks open the spring half of their season at the Atchafalaya Intercollegiate at Nicholls State on Feb. 22-23.
