Mavericks Continue Fall Play at Creighton Classic

OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha women's golf team returns to action at the Creighton Classic at Oak Hills Country Club on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 17-18.
The teams will play 18 holes each day with play beginning at 10 a.m. on both days from the Oak Hills Country Club.
The Mavericks are coming off a ninth place finish at the Chip-N Club Invitational at Nebraska on Sept. 25-27.
Junior Megan Vetrovsky shot a career-best 223 to finish 14th in the field of 65 golfers. She has led the Mavericks in scoring in all four tournaments this fall.
Sophomore Jordan York was second on the team, finishing 49th overall with a 239, tying her career best.
Samantha Chong finished at 242, good for a tie for 51st place. She was three strokes ahead of Sami Langford who was tied for 56th place at 245.
Mandy Boyle was fifth in scoring for the Mavericks at 252.
Following play at Creighton, the Mavericks will wrap up fall play at the Pirate Invitational at Seton Hall on Friday and Saturday Oct. 28-29.
