
Mavericks Finish Fall at Seton Hall

OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha women's golf team will finish the fall half of its season on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 28-29 at the Pirate Invitational hosted by Seton Hall. The 36-hole tournament will take place at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J. with play beginning at 8 a.m. CT.
In their last event, the Mavericks finished tied for eighth at the Creighton Classic on Oct. 17-18. The Mavericks shot a team score of 657 for the 36-hole tournament at the Oak Hills Country Club.
Megan Vetrovsky was Omaha's top scorer for the tournament with a final total of 160, putting her in a tie for 20th. Samantha Chong was one stroke back at 261, tying her for 24th.
Haley Wineman was third for the Mavericks and tied for 33rd overall at 166. She was fourth strokes ahead of Mandy Boyle who finished 44th with a score of 170.
Morgan Miller finished the scoring for Omaha with a total of 177 that put her in 49th place.
Following play this weekend, the Mavericks will resume play in February.
