Mavericks Sixth In Indoor Preseason Poll

ELMHURST, Ill. – The Omaha track & field team has been picked to finish sixth in the Summit League indoor Preseason Coaches' Poll.
The Mavericks received 13 points in the voting, just behind Oral Roberts and Western Illinois which tied for fourth with 13 points and ahead of Fort Wayne (6).
North Dakota State was picked to win its 11th straight Summit League indoor title, receiving 36 points in the voting and six first-place votes. South Dakota was second with 30 points and the other first-place vote. South Dakota State was third with 27 points. The complete poll is below.
The Mavericks finished sixth in last year's Summit League Indoor Championship.
Omaha begins the indoor season at the K-State Winter Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 9.
