Maskus Earns Summit Academic All-League Honor

ELMHURST, Ill. - Senior Ben Maskus is one of five student-athletes to be named to the Summit League's Men's Golf Academic All-League Team.
The announcement was made by the Summit League on Wednesday.
Maskus, a business administration major with a 3.41 GPA, led the Mavericks in scoring this season with a school-record 75.0 stroke average which tied him for 16th in the Summit. He was UNO's top finisher in the Summit League Championship, coming in eighth with a two-over-par score of 218. It was the third-highest 54-hole score of his career. He also led the Mavericks with three top-10 finishes.
The native of Shawnee Mission, Kan. is the second Maverick to be named to the Academic All-League Team following Karl Krieser who earned the honor in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
