Clinton Named Summit League Diver of the Week

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Senior Annika Clinton earned her first-career Summit League Diver of the Week accolade, the league office announced Tuesday.
In the Mavericks' season opener on Friday, Oct. 5 against Northern Iowa, Clinton won the 1-meter dive with a score of 272.40 to qualify for the NCAA Zone Diving cuts. To qualify, a diver must record a score of 265 or better in the event. Clinton also finished runner-up in the 3-meter dive with a total score of 226.73.
Last season, Clinton earned All-Summit honors in the 1-meter dive along with Academic All-Summit Accolades.
Omaha returns to action Monday, Oct. 15 in a dual meet against Air Force. Competition is set to take place at noon in USAF Academy, Colo.
