
Diving Concludes Opening Day of Hawkeye Invite

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Omaha diving team wrapped up the first day of the Hawkeye Invitational Thursday evening.
In the 1-meter dive, the Mavericks had four compete in the event on the opening day.
Madeline Taylor led Omaha with a 26th place finish on a score of 222.15, followed by Annika Clinton in 36th 197.70. Jacquelyn Gaworski finished two spots behind her teammate with a score of 192.50, while Emma Weis rounded out the Mavericks' score with a 171.40 in 45th.
The Mavericks wrap up competition tomorrow for the final day of the Hawkeye Invite, while the swimming team opens its first of a three-day meet in Topeka, Kan. at the Kansas Classic.
