SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The Omaha swimming & diving team capped its final meet of the regular season Saturday evening, competing at the Coyote Invitational at Midco Aquatic Center.

Omaha opened the day taking third in the 200 medley relay (1:49.76) with swims from Kirsten Kracke, Elena Page, Hailey Brull and Baylee Kneip. The Mavericks then swept the 400 IM, with Lizzy Giese in first (4:37.59), Grete Baker in second (4:39.68) and Samantha Starke in third (4:41.89).

Rachel Morrow followed with a runner-up finish in the 200 free (1:54.96). Page (1:06.18) and Brook Landt (1:06.93) took second and third, respectively, in the 100 breast.

In the 1650 free, Giese swam to second place (17:58.99), followed by Cassandra Jahn in third (18:12.83). Landt added a third-place showing in the 100 IM (1:00.22), and Sydney Schneider was second in the 200 back (2:11.15).

The meet continued to the 100 free, where Morrow was third (53.22). Page followed with a win in the 200 breast (2:23.56), and Rebecca Martini took third (2:26.20) in the event. The Mavericks went one-two in the 200 fly, with Olivia McLain's winning time of 2:07.44 and Starke in second (2:08.39).

Omaha's team of Kracke, McLain, Kneip and Kylene Abraham capped the swimming events with the 400 free relay, placing third (3:38.69).

On the diving side, Annika Clinton won the 1-meter dive (261.40), and Monica Houck took third (246.80). Houck added a win in the 3-meter event (256.80), followed by Andrea Brosnahan in third (251.00).

"I was very pleased with the way our team competed the last two days," head coach Todd Samland said. "This was a great opportunity for our athletes to put in their best effort for this season. Baylee Kneip, Logan Back, Sydney Schneider and Hailey Brull all had a great meet and finished with season-best swims today."

Following a week off, Omaha heads to the four-day Summit League Championships, Feb. 14-17, in Sioux Falls, S.D.
