Mavericks Head to NCAA Zone Diving

OMAHA, Neb. -- All-Summit diving duo Monica Houck and Annika Clinton will compete at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships on Monday, March 5 and Tuesday, March 6 at the Jean. K Freeman Aquatic Center in Minneapolis, Minn.
Preliminary sessions are slated to begin at 11 a.m. both days, with the 1-meter competition on Monday and the 3-meter event on Tuesday.
Houck clinched her NCAA Zone berth in the 3-meter with a qualifying score of 284.03 on Jan. 19 at South Dakota State. Clinton made her NCAA cut in the 1-meter with a score of 285.75 on Jan. 26 vs. Western Illinois.
This week marks Houck and Clinton's first career appearances in NCAA Zone competition. Andrea Brosnahan was the first Maverick this season to qualify for an NCAA postseason berth, but she will not compete due to injury.
Competition will be broadcasted on BTN Plus, and links to live video and results will be available on OMavs.com.
