MINNEAPOLIS -- Omaha divers Monica Houck and Annika Clinton finished their season Tuesday afternoon at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships at Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center.
Houck (255.35) and Clinton (218.45) placed 34th and 42nd, respectively, on the 3-meter event.
The performance caps a strong season from the duo, as both earned their first career NCAA postseason berths and their first All-Summit nods.
"This was a big season of progress for our program," diving coach Eric Sprague said. "This is everything we can be, and it's exciting to see that come to fruition. I'm very proud of how Annika and Monica competed this year and took their next step at Zones.
"Monica ended her career today on 3-meter and went toe-to-toe with some of the best divers in the world, including Olympians and national champions. She beat competitors from Power Five teams, and it's great to see our program moving forward in this way."
