
Mavericks Pace Summit in All-American Scholars

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - All six members of the Omaha women's golf team were named All-American Scholars by the Women's Golf Coaches Association today.
The Mavericks led all Summit League team as Mandy Boyle, Samantha Chong, Hannah Hunke, Sami Langford, Megan Vetrovsky and Jordan York all earned the honor. It's the third honor for Vetrovsky and the second each for Boyle and York.
In order to qualify, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.5.
In all, 1,011 student-athletes nationwide were named WGCA All-American Scholars.
The women's golf team posted UNO's best team GPA in both the fall and spring semesters, posting a 3.77 in the fall and a 3.94 in the spring.
