Omaha Makes First Splash into 2019-20 Season

OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha swimming and diving program opened its 2019-20 season while hosting the Midwest Shootout at the H&K Pool on Saturday.

Just Outside
Omaha finished just outside the top three in four different events – 200 Medley Relay, 200 IM, 100 Free and 3-Meter Dive.
Collegiate Debuts
Nine freshmen competed in their first action as a Maverick on Saturday afternoon. The group includes Mallory Dickey, Kady Eller, Caroline Gardner, Megan Latta, Annie Leinart, Maddie Mather, Abigail Mitchell, Mackenzie Stewart and Natalie Wright.
What's Next
The Mavericks have next week off and travel to Ames, Iowa, to take on Iowa State on Friday, Oct. 25 at 6 p.m. in a dual meet.
