Ahrens Earns All-Summit Honors

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Omaha's Stephanie Ahrens earned All-Summit Track and Field honors, the league announced Tuesday, Feb. 26.

"We are extremely proud of Steph and everything she has done for our program and this athletic department during her time here as a Maverick," said head coach Chris Richardson. "Being All-Summit here is another accomplishment to add to hear already long list of accolades."

The senior earned All-Summit for the 2018-19 outdoor season, and garnered her second straight and fifth overall high jump title at The Summit League Championships with a height of 5'8.50". Ahrens also recently set the indoor high jump record at 6'0.5" at the Northwest Missouri State Invite on Feb. 9.

Ahrens now sets her sights on the NCAA Indoor Championships, which are scheduled to take place Saturday, March 9, in Birmingham, Ala.
