Kurtis Rodriguez signed a National Letter of Intent with the Omaha men's golf team and will enter school in the fall of 2021.

OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha men's golf head coach Seth Porter announced today the signing of Kurtis Rodriguez to a National Letter of Intent. He will enter UNO as a freshman in 2021.
Rodriguez will come to Omaha from Red Bluff, Calif. where he played at Red Bluff High School. Although his junior season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he had a productive summer with three top-five finishes at American Junior Golf Association tournaments.
He took second overall at the Wincraft/McArthur Towel & Sports Future Legends tournament with a two-under score of 214 in early July. Later that month, he tied for fifth at the Natural Resource Partners Bluegrass Junior with a score of 209. He finished the summer by tying for third at the AJGA Junior at Sunriver with a 54-hole score of 207, six under par.
Rodriguez also won the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour Northern California Championship and the Junior Tour of Northern California Championship.
"I am excited to add Kurtis to our program," said Porter. "We were very selective in the recruiting process. We are signing only one player because we will not lose anyone following this year.
"I feel Kurtis has the ability to come in and compete immediately and will be a big asset for us on and off the golf course."
Rodriguez plans to major in business administration at UNO.
