HOCKEY
The No. 11 Omaha hockey team went 2-0-1 to finish the final week of the NCHC Pod at Baxter Arena. The Mavericks opened the week with a 2-2 tie and shootout win over No. 3 Minnesota Duluth. Chayse Primeau had a goal and an assist, and he scored the deciding goal in the shootout.
On Friday, Taylor Ward had two goals and two assists, and Primeau added a goal and two assists as the Mavericks came from behind to beat Western Michigan, 6-5.
The Mavericks played the last of 38 total games in the pod with a 3-0 win over Colorado College. Isaiah Saville earned his second career shutout with 34 saves, and three different players scored goals.
MEN'S BASKETBALL
Omaha opened the week at Colorado on Wednesday, falling 91-49. La'Mel Robinson finished with a season-high 11 points, and Matt Pile pulled down a team-leading 11 rebounds.
The Mavericks had an immediate turnaround Thursday at Wyoming where Wanjang Tut scored a career-high 27 points and matched his career bests of nine rebounds and four blocks. Pile became the 42nd 1,000-point scorer in program history, finishing with 17 points, eight rebounds and three blocks. Ayo Akinwole added 14 points and six rebounds.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Omaha fell on the road in its lone game last week, suffering a 69-38 setback at Illinois State.
Ella Ogier led the Mavericks with team-high seven points. Claire Killian added six points and six rebounds while Elena Pilakouta chipped in six points and four boards.
