Mavericks Named All-Academic Team by USTFCCCA

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Omaha track & field was named an All-Academic Team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Thursday.
UNO was one of 264 Division I teams to earn the honor. Collectively, the Mavericks posted a 3.35 grade-point average for the 2019-20 academic year. All teams with a 3.0 GPA or better are recognized.
Iona led NCAA teams across all divisions with a 3.87 GPA.
The Mavericks have been named an All-Academic Team by the USTFCCCA for the ninth straight season, taking them back to the start of their reclassification to Division I in 2011.
