Powells Point, N.C.- The Omaha men's golf team is in 11th place after round one at the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate Sunday.

The Mavericks finished the first round with a team score of 293. Georgetown and Delaware both scored 278 in the first and are tied for the lead. Drexel sits in third place, scoring 281 in round one.

Josh Peters leads the Mavericks shooting two-under in the first round. The junior is tied for 9th place on the leaderboard.

Kurtis Rodriguez is tied for 14th after scoring one-under in round one. That 70 is the freshman's lowest round score as a Maverick.

Noah Hartman shot two-over for a total score of 73 to end day one. The senior is in third place on the team and tied for 42nd overall.

Freshman Christopher Atkinson shot ten-over and is tied for 83rd place. Senior Mathew Halvorson scored eleven-over and is 86th.

Action continues at the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate Monday, October 25 with round two. Tee times start at 7:30 a.m. with the Mavericks scheduled to start at 9:00 a.m. Round three of the 54-hole tournament will be Tuesday, October 26.
