Cooper Tabbed Summit League Diver of the Week
Nov 16, 2021 | Women's Swimming & Diving
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Omaha diver Reece Cooper was tabbed the Summit League Diver of the Week Tuesday afternoon, the league announced. This marks the first weekly honor for the junior diver.
"This is a well earned and great recognition for Reece," said diving coach Eric Sprague. "She put on a gritty performance with her win against SDSU. Reece has been working back from injury and with our lack of a home pool this has been a challenging beginning to the season, but she has bought into the training and brings a good work ethic to practice every day. I'm excited to see her progress though the rest of the season."
Cooper helped the Maverick women to a 170-105 win vs. South Dakota State over the weekend. She posted a season-best score of 239.33 in the 1M-Dive event.
Omaha continues 2021-22 action at the Rochester Invite Dec. 3-5.
