SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Sophomore Josh Peters of the Omaha men's golf team was named to the Academic All- Summit League Team on Tuesday.
It's the first time he's been honored by the league.
Peters carries a 3.89 grade point average in civil engineering and earned Dean's List honors during the fall semester. He was a member of the Summit League Academic Honor Roll as a freshman.
The native of Omaha led the Mavericks in scoring during the 2020-21 season with a stroke average of 76.0. He also led the team in scoring in three of eight tournaments and had one top-10 finish.
