Mavericks Selected Sixth In Preseason Poll

Sioux Falls, S.D.-The Omaha women's golf team has been picked sixth in the annual Summit League preseason coaches' poll.
Earning 31 points in the vote, the Mavericks sit behind fifth-place South Dakota with 37. They are ahead of seventh-place North Dakota with 25.
Denver is the favorite this season, earning 62 voting points and six of the first-place votes. Oral Roberts received three first-place votes and sits in second with 58 points.
Jinna Boonbumroongsuk is a Golfer to Watch this season. The junior shot two-under for the Mavericks' lowest round-score of the fall at the Stampede at the Creek in Elkhorn Oct. 4-5. Jinna finished the event 10-over in a tie for fifth place.
The Mavericks head to the gulf to start the spring season at the Islander Classic at Texas A&M Corpus Christi Feb. 21-22.
