Porter Signs Porter for Fall 2023

Omaha, Neb.- Seth Porter, head coach of the Omaha men's golf team, announced the signing of Porter Topp for the 2023-24 season.
"Porter comes from Omaha and plays at a high school with a great tradition of producing good golfers," Seth Porter said. "He had a successful junior career, but he is only beginning to scratch the surface of his potential. He works with a great local PGA instructor, and if he continues to put in the work with what we offer at Omaha, Porter can have a great career here."
Topp will join the Mavericks after his senior season with Westside high school. In his junior year with the Warriors, Porter helped his team win a district championship and a Nebraska high school boys state golf tournament berth. He finished just one stroke behind his teammate, earning second place overall. He went on to take fourth at the state tournament, helping the team to a runner-up finish.
In the upcoming season, Topp will lead the team as the only senior on the Warrior roster. Porter will join the Mavericks for the fall season in 2023.
