The freshmen tied for 41st place among all golfers. In his freshman campaign, Rodriguez notched three top-ten finishes, including one top five finish at the Joust at Goose Creek in California earlier this spring. As a team, the Mavericks' best finish came at the Stampede at the Creek, where they placed third in both the fall and spring tournaments. The team's lowest round was 284 from the second round of the Stampede in October, before they bested that with 283 in the first round in April.
