Halvorson Named All-League Honorable Mention

Omaha, Neb.-- The Summit League announced its list of All-League teams on Friday, Apr. 28. Graduate student Mathew Halvorson was named an All-League honorable mention.
Halvorson earned this award with a scoring average of 73.6 over 28 rounds. The graduate student from Grand Forks, N.D., has been in the starting lineup for every event this season, which is no surprise. Halvorson has been in the lineup for all 28 tournaments since he arrived on campus as a junior in 2020.
This season, Mathew earned four top-20 finishes and one Summit League peak golfer of the week award. He led the Mavericks through four-straight events with a scoring average of 72.3 over 12 rounds.
Halvorson and the Mavericks head to Lincoln, Nebraska for the 2023 Summit League men's golf championship at Wilderness Ridge Country Club. Action from the capital city begins on Sunday, Apr. 30.
