Wilson Tabbed Summit League Preseason Athlete to Watch

Connor Wilson was named an Athlete to Watch in the 2024 Summit League Preseason Coaches Poll. The men's golf squad was selected to finish seventh in the this season's preseason poll.
Wilson, who made his debut with the Mavericks last year after spending three seasons with the Arkansas State Red Wolves, had a solid 2022-23 campaign.
Last year at the Omaha hosted Stampede at the Creek, Wilson's first overall finish helped the Mavericks to a third overall finish. Wilson posted an average score of 74 last season playing in 27 rounds for the Omaha. He collected a t-8 finish at the Missouri State Intercollegiate shooting a +1 for the three round tournament. Wilson also posted a t-11 finish at the WIU invitational going 74, 75, 74 in three rounds
