
Cross Country adds Hope Riedel to the Fall 2025 class

OMAHA, Neb. - Omaha cross country has added Hope Riedel to the Mavericks' program on Wednesday, Nov. 13, as part of National Signing Day. Riedel will arrive on campus in August 2025, hailing from Lincoln, Neb.
Riedel joins the Mavericks from Lincoln, Neb., where she attended Lincoln North Star. The two-time top 15 Finisher at the NSAA State Cross Country Championships personal records include times of 18:24.1 in the 5k, 5:14.76 in the 1600m event and an 11:20.86 finish in the 3200m event.
"We are very excited about Hope joining us next Fall," head coach Cliff Cisar said. "She fits right in with our group and is a student of the sport. Her goals align with what we are looking to accomplish as a program, and we couldn't be more excited to work with beginning next year!"
