Cross Country finishes seventh at Summit League Championships

VERMILLION, S.D. – Omaha Cross Country finished the day at the Summit League Cross Country Championships in seventh place of participating women's programs.
One Maverick finished in the top 10, and junior Kamryn Ensley completed the 6k run in 21:07.88. Only one other Omaha student-athlete finished in the top 25 as freshman Meredith Richter finished at 25, recording a time of 22:14.12.
The Summit League named senior Emma Hain as the Scholar of the Championship.
According to the conference, the award is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative undergraduate grade-point average participating at each of the Summit League's 19 championships.
Hain has a 4.0 GPA and is working towards a degree in Architectural Engineering.
