10 Mavericks Named to All-Summit League Team

Omaha had a combined 10 Mavericks between the men's and women's swim and dive squad be named to the All-Summit League Team following their record-breaking performances at the Summit League Championship. The women who earned the All-Summit League honors include Annika Bussinger, Olivia Dendinger, Darby Drake, Payton Easley, Hailey Matthews, and Gracie Streblow. The men who received honors include Owen Hoak, Kyle Kulow, Caleb Miller, and Grant Schaeffer.
Darby Drake earned the honors for her second-place finish and score of 270.85 on the 1-meter and third-place finish and score of 291.80 on the 3-meter.
Hailey Matthews was acknowledged for her performances in the 500-free, 400-medley relay, and 200-butterfly. In the 500-free where she picked up third with a record-breaking time of 4:53.19. Matthews also earned third in the 200-fly with a time of 2:03.47, breaking a school record.
Annika Bussinger was recognized for her performance in the 200-medley relay, 400-medley relay and 100-fly. Bussinger earned second in the 100-fly after breaking the school record with a time of 54.68.
Olivia Dendinger and Payton Easley were recognized for their performance in the 200-medley relay and 400-medley relay.
Gracie Streblow earned the All-Summit honors for her 200-medley relay contribution.
The women who raced in the 400-medley relay broke the school record and earned a third-place finish with a time of 3:42.64
The women's team that competed in the 200-medley relay also broke a school record with another third-place finish and time of 1:41.87.
The men were recognized for their 400-free relay third-place finish which broke the school record with at time of 2:57.87.
