As a freshman in 2007-08: Was a member of the 4x400 meter relay team that finished eighth in the NCAA indoor championship to earn All-America honor...that relay team ran a season-best time of 3:49.58 in the Nebraska-Lincoln Invitational...qualified for the NCAA championship in the 400m indoor race with a time of 55.58 in the Nebraska-Lincoln Frank Sevigne Husker Invite.
High School: Set the Slovenian junior national record in the indoor 200 with a time of 24.80 in 2004...member of the national record-setting 4x400 relay team that finished in 3:34.77 in 2006...placed 10th at the 2007 European Junior Championship in the 400 with a time of 54.42.
Personal: Born November 23, 1988 in Medvode, Slovenia...daughter of Igor and Barbara Puc...has one sister, Stasa...majoring in exercise science...high school coach was Sasa Maraz...name is pronounced ON-yuh POOTZ
