Meaghan Borowski

Meaghan Borowski joined the Omaha cross country program in the fall of 2020 as a volunteer assistant coach. She came to UNO from South Alabama where she spent time as a volunteer coach with cross country and track & field while pursuing a master’s degree in sport management.
Originally from Minnetonka, Minn., Borowski attended Minnetonka High School where she was a part of state championship teams as a junior and senior. She went on to attend Minnesota-Duluth, competing on their women’s cross country and track & field teams. During her time there, she was a nine time all-conference member, a two time all-region honoree and earned All-America status at the 2017 NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships. In track & field, she competed primarily in the mile and 3000m indoors and the 1500m and steeplechase outdoors.
After college, Borowski coached at Holy Family High School in Waconia, Minn. before moving to Mobile, Ala. to start her master’s work at South Alabama.
Borowski will complete her degree requirements this fall. She also is currently involved in the 2020 USTFCCCA Women’s Mentorship program and is certified in the Level I Technical Track & Field course. Outside of running and coaching, Meaghan is enjoying exploring Omaha and her new home with her fiancé.
