USD Defeats Mavericks in Conference Match

The University of South Dakota improved its record to 14-7 overall and 4-3 in the North Central Conference as it defeated Nebraska-Omaha 3-1 (30-26, 30-24, 28-30, 30-28)Saturday night, Oct 18, at Sapp Fieldhouse in Omaha. The Mavericks fell to 10-13 overall and 1-6 in the NCC.
Junior outside hitter Amy McLeay led the Mavericks with 24 kills and eight digs while junior Jenny Rankin scored a double-double with 15 kills and 13 digs in the loss.
UNO will travel to Brookings, S.D. on Friday, Oct. 24 to take on South Dakota State at 7 p.m.
