Mavericks Lose 4-2 To Northern Michigan

Northern Michigan's Craig Kowalski made 34 saves as the Wildcats won 4-2 Saturday night at Qwest Center Omaha.
Patrick Murphy scored the game-winning goal at 18:04 of the third period.
Nebraska-Omaha trailed 3-1 with under a minute left in the second period until Jason Krischuk connected on a slapshot from the point with 43 seconds left in the period.
Sophomore captain Mike Lefley tallied UNO's other goal in the game. Lefley has four goal in his last three games.
The second period was filled with penalties. A total of 15 were issued between the two teams after Lefley scored his goal 39 seconds into the period. The Mavericks finished with 10 penalties for 20 minutes while NMU was tabbed with 11 for 22.
UNO (2-7-1, 2-5-1 CCHA) hits the road next week to take on Ferris State.
