Mavs Prepare for Colorado Mines Classic

The Mavericks will take a 1-0 record into Week 2 of the new men's basketball season this weekend in the Colorado Mines Classic in Golden, Colo. UNO will meet Mesa State at 7 p.m. CST on Friday and host Colorado Mines at 9 p.m. on Saturday.
UNO opened its 94th men's basketball season last Saturday night with a come-from-behind 71-66 victory at Winona State. The Mavs rallied from nine points down in the final five minutes for the win.
Both Mesa State and Colorado Mines are opening the season this weekend. Colorado Mines will face West Texas A&M on Friday night.
The games will not be broadcast on the radio.
