Mavs, Minutemen Skate To 1-1 Tie

Omaha, Neb.--UNO freshman Chris Holt made 26 saves as Nebraska-Omaha skated to a 1-1 tie with No. 7 Massachusetts at Qwest Center Omaha on Saturday.
UMass took a 1-0 lead in the first period when Thomas Pock scored on the power play at 15:09.
The 1-0 lead held until 9:21 of the third period. David Morelli tallied his first goal of the year on a rebound in front of the net.
UNO's win and tie in the series against the Minutemen marks the first time since February 14-15 last year where the Mavs did not lose during a weekend series.
The Mavericks (4-8-2, 3-6-1 CCHA) resume CCHA play next weekend as they travel north to take on Alaska Fairbanks.
