Mavs Snap 14-game Winless Streak With 7-1 Victory

The UNO hockey team won its first hockey game since February 15, 2003 with a 7-1 victory over Lake Superior State Friday night.
Nebraska-Omaha exploded with four second period goals, including two on the power play.
Scott Parse and Mike Lefley each tallied two goals a piece. Kaleb Betts and Mike Gabinet also recorded two-point nights with a goal and an assist.
UNO (1-5-1, 1-3-1 CCHA) was 2 of 2 on the power play and killed off 3 of 4 Lake Superior power plays.
Freshman Chris Holt made 27 saves for his first collegiate win.
