Mavs Fall to Huskers in Exhibition, 94-47

LINCOLN -- Nebraska had five players score in double figures in racing to a 94-47 exhibition women's basketball win over the Mavreicks Sunday in the Devaney Center. Skeeter Zoucha and Andrea Schoepf led UNO with eight points apiece.
The Mavs, who shot just 25.9 percent from the field for the game, are 0-2 in exhibition play. The next action will be in the Red-Black Intrasquad scrimmage next Sunday, Nov. 16, at 2 p.m. at Sapp Fieldhouse.
UNO will open regular season play in the USD Classic in Vermillion, S.D., on Nov. 21. The Mavs will play Wayne State and Northern State at 6 p.m. each night.
Kea Cannon-Johnston and Katie Morse each scored 14 points to lead Nebraska, which led 51-28 at halftime.
