"See Your Seat" Night Kicks Off Hockey Season

The Maverick hockey team and UNO hockey season ticket holders will get their first look at the new Qwest Center Omaha Wednesday as "See Your Seat" night starts a chain of events leading up to Sunday's exhibition with Manitoba at 7:05 p.m.
Media night will also be conducted on Wednesday evening.
Qwest Center Omaha will be open from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday night for Maverick hockey season ticket holders to get their first look inside the new building.
Parking at Qwest Center Omaha will be free Wednesday for "See Your Seat" night. Fans are asked to park in Lots B or C.
On Friday, October 3, the hockey team will host "A Night With the Mavericks" at Motto McLean Ice Arena for all Maverick hockey fans. A picnic will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a scrimmage between the 2003-2004 Maverick hockey team and former Mavericks beginning at 7:00 p.m. "Skate With the Mavs" will then follow the scrimmage.
