Western Michigan Tops Mavs, 5-4

Western Michigan's Vince Bellissimo tallied two goals Friday night as the Broncos defeated Nebraska-Omaha 5-4 at Qwest Center Omaha.
WMU jumped out to a 2-0 lead 10 minutes into the first period on goals by Dana Lattery and Bellissimo.
The Mavericks came right back and tied the score at 2-2 in the opening period on power play goals by Alex Nikiforuk and Jason Krischuk.
Bellissimo tallied his second goal of the night with three seconds remaining in the first period for a 3-2 lead.
UNO tied the score at 14:42 of the second period on a even strength goal by David Morelli.
