Mavs Open Up CCHA Play With Broncos

The Nebraska-Omaha hockey team (2-0-0, 0-0-0 CCHA) begins CCHA play this weekend by hosting Western Michigan (1-1-0, 1-1-0 CCHA) at the Qwest Center. The Mavericks are fresh off of a bye week and will hit the ice for the first time since they captured the Mutual of Omaha Stampede title on October 10. The Broncos split a two-game series last weekend in Kalamazoo.
Faceoff is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. for both Friday and Saturday's games.
