Mutual Of Omaha Stampede Next for Skaters

The UNO hockey team will face Connecticut in the first round of the Mutual of Omaha Stampede on Saturday. The Mavericks opened the 2004-2005 season with a 7-0 exhibition win over the University of Manitoba on Monday.
RPI will take on Merrimack at 4 p.m. on Saturday with the Mavericks and Huskies following at 7 p.m.
The consolation game is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Sunday with the championship game at 7 p.m.
