Mavs Sign 2nd Recruit to National Letter

Maverick Head Coach Kevin KcKenna said today that Gabriel Zwiener from Pleasanton, Neb., High School, has signed a national letter of intent to attend the University of Nebraska at Omaha and play basketball next fall. Zwiener is the second recruit for McKenna's Mavs this fall.
The 6-11, 235-pound post player averaged 17.2 points per game last year for the 15-6 Pleasanton team and earned all-conference honors. He was also selected to the All-Hub Territory team.
Zwiener has averaged 12.7 points per game for his three seasons in high school and has 823 career points. His parents are Weldon and Deb Zwiener.
Earlier this week the Mavericks signed Matthew Culliver, a six-foot guard from Omaha Bryan High School.
