The Maverick hockey team (6-4-0, 4-4-0 CCHA) will host No. 7 Ohio State (9-3-0, 7-1-0 CCHA) in a two-game series on Friday and Saturday.
The Buckeyes are riding a five-game winning streak and lead the CCHA standings with 14 points. UNO is tied for third place in the conference with eight points.
Nebraska-Omaha suffered its first loss at home last weekend but hold a 5-1-0 record this season at the Qwest Center.
OSU leads the all-time series with the Mavs, 10-6-1 and have won the last four meetings between the two teams. UNO swept Ohio State during their last visit to Omaha back in January 2003.
The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. both nights.
