Mavs Prepare to Host Thanksgiving Classic

The Mavericks will make their first home appearances Friday and Saturday when they host the Thanksgiving Classic at Lee & Helene Sapp Fieldhouse. UNO will play Chadron State Friday and Winona State Saturday, with each game starting at 6 p.m.
The Mavs, in their first year under Head Coach Patty Patton Shearer, are 1-1. Both Chadron State and Winona State will bring 0-3 marks into the Classic. South Dakota's women's teams will play the same teams each day at 1 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 26
1 p.m. women-South Dakota (1-1) vs. Winona State (0-3)
3 p.m. men- South Dakota (1-0) vs. Colorado Mines (0-3)
6 p.m. women- UNO (1-1) vs. Chadron State (0-3)
8 p.m. men-UNO (3-0) vs. Truman State (0-3)

1 p.m. women-South Dakota vs. Chadron State
3 p.m. men- South Dakota vs. Truman State
6 p.m. women- UNO vs. Winona State
